Vacaville Early College High School (VECHS) offers students free college credits through an educational
partnership between Solano Community College and Vacaville Unified School District. Students can graduate

Gifted And Talented Education (GATE) program is a model of differentiated instruction that is driven by the classroom teachers at our ten elementary schools. Alternative Cooperative Education (ACE) The ACE philosophy of education honors and supports each individual's unique development. Our goal is to empower children to reach their potential in a supportive atmosphere where they experience joy, creativity, and self-confidence while learning about themselves and the world around them. Vacaville Elementary Independent Study Program (VISP) is designed for elementary students in grades K-6. This homeschool program provides a format for supporting a parent-guided educational process. Parents will take a significant and active role in the instruction of their child while working with an independent study teacher. VISP provides assistance with curriculum that is aligned with the district's approved course of study and aligned with the state grade level expectations. The focus of VISP is to ensure an excellent educational program structured for each student's individual strengths and needs. The program is located at Orchard Elementary School.
